Pre-treatment is a process of adding colors, colors with designs or adding functional finishes such as for providing soft hand or water absorbency.

Fibers come out with their own natural impurities like colorants, oils, or inorganics, as well as sizes or waxes as external sources, while making woven or knits. These impurities should be removed well due to their potential obstacles when adding colors, color with designs, or other functions.
